Philosophy and About the Club:

Nau mai, haere mai ki South Pac Titans Netball,

South Pacific Titans Netball, initially established in the early 2000s, was re-started again in 2016 with a bunch of friends who were keen to get back out on the court and play netball after not playing since high school. Since the re-launch Titans netball has grown and developed so much, starting with three teams and now upwards of up to six.

We currently have women’s and men’s teams playing in the Dunedin Netball Competition on Saturdays (women) and Monday nights (mens) in premier and senior grades, with both competitive and social teams. Our club encompasses whānau values, where we welcome everyone from all backgrounds. We have a Titans netball committee to ensure the smooth running of Titans netball. We provide trainings for our competitive teams, where we have strong emphasis on individual and team development, and most of all caring and looking after one another.

Our netball is part of a wider community under the South Pacific Rugby League and Sports Club. We have a wide range of events and sports that all members can participate in.

We are always on the look for volunteers so if you are interested in coaching, managing, umpiring or being part of the Titans committee feel free to email us titansnetball16@gmail.com

What makes you different to other clubs?

The Titan’s affiliate to the South Pacific Rugby League and Sport’s club, which also includes basketball (female, male), softball (mixed) and rugby league (male). We have recently formed a relationship with the Alhambra-Union rugby football and use the Clubrooms as our base. We have a unique demographic base and some very strong connections with different areas of the Dunedin community (University of Otago, Otago Polytechnic, Māori, Pacific Island).

Grades you compete in:

Premier B, Premier C and Senior grades.

The club provides:

In 2016 we had brand new uniforms and each year we get new club merchandise.

Socialising: We have several club events throughout the year where you can meet other members of the club.
